![]() You need to make sure that you have a set amount of time set aside to work on yourself and your body to ensure that you are practicing the best oral hygiene habits. Working Your Way Up with Oil PullingYou want to keep in mind that the oil has to be easily held in the mouth. You do not want too much or too little, as this is not going to work out very well. You are not gargling the oil, so always make sure to keep it at the front of the mouth. This is what is going to give the most benefits when it comes to making the oil pulling work. Always oil pull first thing in the morning before you have anything in your stomach. Make sure to do it long enough. 20 minutes is usually the recommended time, but you want to start off small. Do 5 minutes the first time, move it up to 10 the third time and then 15 the fifth time. From there, you should be able to easily make it to 20. You can also do a small task while you are oil pulling to ensure that you are doing it long enough. Make sure to swish salt water and then brush and floss once you have finished oil pulling. This will ensure that your mouth is completely clean. Speak with us here if you want to further your oral hygiene and make sure that your mouth continues to stay clean for some time. We can set you up with an appointment that ensures you have a cleaner, healthier mouth. |
